ENGAGE IN EVERYDAY MOMENTS TOGETHER

Morning Time

When you go into your child’s room, cuddle them and say: “Good morning, [child’s name]! I’m so happy you’re my friend, and I’m your friend, and that Jesus wants to be our friend forever!”

Drive Time

While on the go, talk about the different teachers you both have had for school, church, sports, art, etc. Talk about how Jesus is an amazing teacher who came to teach us important things about God and how to love one another.

Cuddle Time

Cuddle with your child and pray: “God, I believe Jesus loves us and wants to teach us important things. Help [child’s name] and me listen to Jesus and do what He says.”

Bath Time

Add toy people/figures and a bathtub crayon to bath time. Draw a road on the bathtub. Encourage your child to walk the people on the road as you sing the following words to the tune of “Following the Leader”: “We’re going to hear Jesus, Jesus, Jesus. We’re going to hear Jesus teach important things.”
