Week One
The Angel and Mary
Luke 1:26-33, 38, 46-49
An angel tells Mary that she is going to have God’s Son, and His name will be Jesus.

Week Two
Jesus is Born
Luke 2:1-7
Mary and Joseph go to Bethlehem, and Jesus is born in a stable, where animals lived.

Week Three
The Shepherds
Luke 2:8-22
An angel tells the shepherds the good news that Jesus has been born, and the shepherds hurry to go see Him.

Week Four
Wise Men
Matthew 2:1-2, 9-11
Wise men follow a special star to Jesus. When they see Jesus, they worship Him and give Him gifts.

 

ENGAGE IN EVERYDAY MOMENTS TOGETHER

Morning Time

When you go into your child’s room, say: “Good morning, [child’s name]! Jesus is special because Jesus is God’s Son.”

Drive Time

While on the go, name some people your child knows and who they are a son or daughter to (including you). End by saying, “Jesus is special because Jesus is God’s Son.”

Cuddle Time

Cuddle with your child and pray: “God, thank You for loving [name of child] and me so much that You gave us Your Son, Jesus.”

Bath Time

During bath time, say, “Let’s take turns telling each other something we like about Christmas.” End by saying, “God sent an angel to tell Mary something. The angel told Mary that she was going to have a baby. His name would be Jesus, and He would be God’s Son!
