ENGAGE IN EVERYDAY MOMENTS TOGETHER

Morning Time

When you enter your child’s room, say: “Good morning, [child’s name]! It’s time to wake up and love like Jesus!”

Drive Time

While on the go, ask the following question with different times of the day: “Does Jesus love you in the (morning, lunchtime, playtime, etc.)?” Then say, “Yes! Jesus is a friend who loves at all times!”

Cuddle Time

Cuddle with your child and pray: “God, thank You for sending Jesus to show us that You love everyone. It doesn’t matter where a person lives, their job, or what they look like…Jesus loves everyone! And that means [name of child], and I can love everyone too, just like Jesus.”

Bath Time

During bath time, talk about how Jesus washed His disciples’ feet while you wash your child’s feet. Tell them that Jesus did that to show us how to love.
